DCLA FAB

Concept Driven. Engineer Built. Installed To Last.

WHO I AM AND WHY IT MATTERS

DCLA FAB operates as a single point of authorship and execution.

Projects do not move between designers, engineers, and outside shops. Concept, structural logic, fabrication strategy, and installation planning are developed within one controlled system.

Every project is carried from first sketch through final deployment under one authority. That removes interpretation gaps, tolerance conflicts, scope drift, and misalignment between design intent and build reality.

The aesthetic changes from project to project.
The process does not.

Whether the work is a museum environment, retail buildout, trade show installation, or thematic object collection, the same standards apply:

Defined constraints.
Resolved structure.
Controlled fabrication.
Accountable installation.

This is not outsourced production. It is integrated development and build under one roof.

HOW THE WORK GETS DONE

Each project follows a defined sequence built for public deployment and long term performance.

Concept
Purpose, constraints, site conditions, circulation, audience interaction, and operational requirements are defined before visual development begins.

Design
Spatial logic, material selection, and assembly strategy are shaped around structural performance, compliance, durability, and real world use.

Engineering
Loads, mounting systems, tolerances, access, transport, and service considerations are resolved before fabrication begins. Decisions are documented, not improvised.

Fabrication
Metal, wood, reclaimed materials, lighting systems, and mixed media assemblies are produced in house. Methods are selected for structural integrity, repeatability, and lifespan.

Finishing
Surface systems are specified for wear, handling, exposure, and maintenance. No finish is applied without performance criteria.

Installation
Projects are delivered as functional environments, not staged presentations. Fit, alignment, safety, and operational readiness are verified on site.

This framework supports diverse cultural, retail, and institutional environments without compromising execution.

This process supports diverse visual styles without compromising execution.
